Slurp, Munch, Snooze

Covid19 Update – The team are all very grateful to be opening on Saturday 4th July and welcoming you through the door once again. This being said, please do not feel offended if we ask you to sit in the garden for drinks as this is the safest place for everyone. We have added a few extra tables for the summer so are hoping to welcome as many of you as possible, whilst still adhering to distancing regulations.

We are trying to keep our limited inside tables for bookings only, however we will always try our upmost to accommodate you if you find yourselves nearby and hungry. We must also note, due to government guidelines, we are only able to accept bookings of up to 6 people and are only able to have this amount on any one table at a time inside and out.

The team are doing as much as they can to keep the pub and garden as clean and safe as possible for everyone, we only ask that you do the same and have consideration for other guests and our team.
We hope to see you all soon!

A Little about us –

Our Landlord, Iain, welcome’s you to the Lazy Lion, as if you are a guest in his own home.  We want you to be completely comfortable and feel that everything is being taken care of, so you can focus on enjoying quality time with your friends and family. The warm, bright ambiance of our dining room and bar area is the perfect setting for an afternoon or evening of delicious food, washed down with an excellent drinks selection.

We offer a selection of locally brewed beers, an exquisite variety of wines and bubbles, perfectly hot beverages made using our locally roasted coffee beans, and soft drinks.

Formally the Red Lion

We are lucky enough to have a south facing garden meaning we can make the most of the sunshine throughout the day. Whether you are hungry or just thirsty you are welcome to grab a table in the garden and enjoy the costal weather. There is even a play area to keep little ones entertained.

Our menu includes something for everyone, from traditional pub classics, to eclectic international dishes.  We can cater for most dietary requirements too.  Don’t fancy something from our main menu?  Our ever changing specials board is sure to have something to tickle your fancy.

Business Trip? Weekend away? Celebrating? Come and stay with us at The Lazy Lion in one of our clean and comfortable Bed & Breakfast rooms.  We’ve poured so much love into these rooms that while you stay with us, it will feel like a Home from Home!

The whole team at The Lazy Lion, are ready and raring to go to make your time with us so unforgettable that you won’t be waiting to visit us again.
